The Elmira
Rotary renewed its commitment to partner with
Rotarians help Diven Elementary as classroom volunteers, assisting
teachers with projects, events and programs, and with donations of
money, school supplies and equipment. Last year, Rotarian-sponsored
activities include:

Character
award recognition ceremony.

Pennies
for Polio collection that gave Diven students, who are often on
the receiving end, an opportunity to give to others.

Playground
upgrading and expansion project.

Tedd
Arnold book collection donation for the school’s library, with
books autographed by the author.

School
supplies, backpacks and clothing donations.

School
ground beautification project, with flowers planted in front of
the building.
Meets every Tuesday at noon at the Elmira Holiday Inn.
