we are meeting at the pavilion behind Able-2's Old Ithaca Road facility to build the garden beds we purchased with our District Simplified Grant. I would love to have some more hands to help, the instructions look fairly straightforward How To Build The VegTrug Medium Planter  Please message me if you are planning come out. This is also a great chance to check out the paved area, if you aren't a builder.

We already have teams starting to register for the annual Road Rally that will show you the sights of Chemung County! To register please either text (607-329-4003) or email kellygcomfort@gmail.com. Registration is $15/person. Please meet at The Phoenix behind the Arnot Falck Cancer Center at NOON on Saturday, May 10. Which team(s) will become hopelessly lost and need a lifeline? Which team will win? Which teams will know Chemung County inside and out and be able to decipher the clues? All funds raised stay local!

Join us as we learn how to make pierogis from Jennifer at Farmhouse Pantry on May 20th! You will need to pre-register by reaching out to us at 607-329-4003 or by email at ccsunriserotary85@gmail.com The class will be at St. Matthew's Episcopal Church in Horseheads starting at 6 pm. Please register by May 13 so Jennifer brings enough materials for all. The cost will depend on the number of "chefs". Help us support a local small business in our area! Another way Rotary is helping small businesses succeed! Please spread the word with your friends and service groups. The more the merrier!

Join the Elmira High School Interact Club and the Tanglewood Nature Center at the unique fundraiser.

You are invted for a morning of Nature, Learning, & Fun! (Donuts & Coffee provided)

There will be a Guided Nature Walk AND a presentation by Greg Budny, retired audio curator of the Macaulay Library at the Cornell Lab of Ornithology!

Donations are $5 per person or $12 per family. All funds raised will go to the World Wildlife Foundation & The Tanglewood Nature Center.

She will share how the community garden is used and the benefits of making the space accessible for those individuals with mobility differences. We will conclude with a ribbon cutting and welcoming of individuals into the garden.
Lunch will be provided by Meals on Wheels of Chemung County, $10/person, if you would like a meal you must RSVP by: 5/30/2025 to katrinas626@gmail.com
